Product Description
xThe Module 16 G2 is a 12 W recessed LED downlight with a twist-on module — the light engine twists into a fixed housing rather than being wired in as one piece. That is the feature worth understanding before you specify it.
Twist-on means the module comes out
The housing stays in the ceiling; the light engine twists out. In a commercial or multi-unit installation that matters a great deal — a failed module is swapped in seconds without touching wiring or ceiling. In a house it means a future upgrade does not mean patching the ceiling.
A 40° beam is a narrow downlight
At 40° this is tighter than the 60° and 120° beams common elsewhere in the range. A narrow beam gives a defined pool with contrast between fittings, which suits highlighting a bench, a corridor run or a display — and it means you need them closer together for even general light.
4000 K, and IP44
This version is 4000 K neutral white, giving 900 lm from 12 W. It is IP44, so it can be used in bathroom and eave positions your electrician confirms, and it is dimmable.
Where it works
- Kitchen benches and corridors, using the narrow beam for defined pools.
- Bathrooms and eaves, subject to the wiring zone.
- Commercial and multi-unit work, where a swappable module saves labour.
- Retail and display lighting, where 40° gives contrast.

Fitting 50 mm across and 70 mm deep — check that depth against your ceiling void. 12 W giving 900 lm at 4000 K, beam 40°, aluminium body. IP44 and dimmable, on 240 V.

What is the twist-on system?

What colour temperature is it?
4000 K neutral white. Only this version is stocked, although the range is made in other temperatures.
How narrow is the beam?
40° — tighter than most downlights. It gives defined pools with contrast, so space them closer for even general light.
Can it go in a bathroom or eave?
It is IP44, so yes subject to the wiring zone your electrician confirms.
Is it dimmable?
Yes.
How deep is it?
70 mm, on a 50 mm fitting. Check that against your ceiling void.
What is the warranty?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

- Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
