Product Description
xThe Frya 50 is the largest of the three rattan pendants — ø500 mm against the 40's ø400 mm and the 30's ø300 mm. One light, woven rattan shade, iron frame. The number is the diameter in centimetres.
Half a metre wide is a statement fitting
At ø500 mm this is the version that anchors a room on its own. Over a dining table it wants about 1.2 m or more of table so the shade sits within the footprint; over an island it works as a single central fitting rather than one of a row.
More weave means more pattern
A larger woven shade throws a correspondingly larger pattern onto the ceiling and walls. With the Frya 50 that pattern becomes a significant part of the room's character after dark — which is either the reason to buy it or the reason to choose the 30. A clear globe sharpens the effect; a frosted one softens it.
Still light for its size
It weighs only 1.55 kg despite the diameter, because rattan is light. A standard ceiling fixing carries it without special provision — unusual for a fitting this wide.

Specifying it
Shade ø500 mm, height 300 mm, weight 1.55 kg, suspension 1,500 mm shortened at installation. One E27 globe up to 25 W, not supplied. Iron and rattan, in natural, black or brown. It runs on 240 V, is IP20 and indoor only, and is Class I — an earth is required. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. In a wide shade, use a higher-output LED globe within the 25 W limit — a small lamp will light the rattan without lighting the table.
Questions
Is this a 50-light pendant?
No — it is a ONE-light fitting. The 50 refers to its ø500 mm diameter.
How does it compare to the Frya 30 and 40?
It is the largest at ø500 mm. The 50 anchors a room alone; the 40 works alone over a smaller table; the 30 suits a group.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 25 W, supplied separately. Use a higher-output LED lamp so it lights the table, not just the shade.
How heavy is it?
Only 1.55 kg — rattan is light, so a standard ceiling fixing carries it.
What kind of light does it give?
Light escapes through the weave, casting a large pattern on the ceiling and walls as well as lighting below.
What finishes are there?
Natural, black and brown.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
