The Rias CTC50 is a ø500 mm close-to-ceiling crystal light in gold or chrome — 40 W giving 4,000 lm, with switchable 3300 K / 4200 K / 6500 K and Bluetooth remote dimming.

⚠ It dims by REMOTE, not by a wall dimmer. Telbix records it plainly — Bluetooth remote — while our own record says only “dimmable: Yes”. Do not wire it to a TRIAC wall dimmer, and tell your electrician before they quote: the switch plate they would normally fit is the wrong one here.

4,000 lumens from a crystal fitting — that is the point

100 lm/W, which is genuinely efficient. Compare the tiered crystal pendants elsewhere in this catalogue: 2,400 to 2,600 lm for 80 W, about 30 lm/W. Crystal normally trades output for sparkle. The Rias sparkles and lights the room, which is unusual enough to be the reason to choose it.

Close to ceiling, so it fits an ordinary house

Rias also comes as pendants, which want a void. The CTC sits close against the ceiling, so it works at 2,400 mm in a bedroom, hallway or living room with the same crystal, the same finishes and the same colour switching.

3300 to 6500 K — and our record lists none of them

3300 K warm, 4200 K natural, 6500 K daylight. That range goes well beyond the 5000 K most tri-colour fittings stop at, and through crystal it makes a dramatic difference: 6500 K gives a hard brilliant sparkle, 3300 K is warm and golden. Our product record carries no colour temperature at all for a fitting that has three — so the feature was invisible to anyone filtering or comparing on our site.

Our sources disagree on the material. The datasheet says aluminium, brass and stainless steel; the page said crystal and stainless steel. Both agree on stainless steel, and the crystal is visible in the product. We publish crystal on stainless steel and note that brass and aluminium appear in one source only. It is the same disagreement as on the Jura CTC40.

Gold or chrome

Gold is warm and belongs with the 3300 K setting; chrome is cool and pairs with 6500 K. Both are gloss. On a close-to-ceiling fitting the frame is most of what you see from below, so the finish choice carries more weight here than it would on a pendant.

It is Class I — earth required, and Telbix records no assembly required — it arrives built. A licensed electrician installs it.

How does it dim?

By Bluetooth remote, from a handset — not a wall dimmer. Telbix records it plainly; our own record said only “dimmable: Yes”. Do not wire it to a TRIAC dimmer, and tell your electrician before they quote.

What colour temperatures does it have?

Will it fit a normal ceiling?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
