This is the fixed-down Tivah in solid brass with a graphite finish — a single head aimed permanently downward on a matching backing plate, with a high-output reflector behind the lamp. Fixed rather than adjustable is a deliberate choice, not a lesser one: a head that cannot be knocked out of alignment stays aimed where the electrician set it, which matters on a driveway pillar or a public-facing wall where the fitting gets bumped. The graphite reads almost black at a distance and lets the brass underneath do the weathering.
Three part numbers, and the difference is electrical rather than cosmetic:
If the wall has mains available and no existing low-voltage run, one of the GU10 versions is the straightforward specification.
The fitting is IP65 and surface mounts to a wall. Both 240 V versions are protection class 1 and need an earth at the fitting; the MR16 version is class 3 low voltage and must never be connected to mains — it takes a 12 V DC LED driver, sized for the total load if more than one fitting shares it, wired in parallel. Havit voids the warranty where a low-voltage fitting sits more than 25 m from its driver or the supply drifts beyond 5% of nominal.
Both datasheets are explicit that this fitting is not dimmable with the globes supplied, so do not budget for a dimmer on the circuit. The globes are replaceable and the socket ceilings differ: 35 W on the 240 V GU10, 20 W on the 12 V MR16. The two bases are not interchangeable, so quote the part number you own when ordering replacements. Whichever version you order, it is covered by a 3-year replacement warranty. Lights For You keeps the graphite alongside the plain brass and the copper Tivah, so the family can be matched across a single elevation.
Both. The body is solid brass; graphite is the finish applied to it. That is why it weathers like brass rather than like a painted aluminium fitting.
No. Both datasheets state it is not dimmable with the globes supplied.
Only HV1177MR16T, which runs on 12 V DC and requires a 12 V DC LED driver. The two GU10 versions are 240 V and wire straight to mains.
35 W for the 240 V GU10 versions and 20 W for the 12 V MR16 version. The limits are different — use the one for the part number you own.
Yes. It is IP65, so weather exposure is within its rating.
No. This is the fixed-down model, aimed permanently downward. The adjustable Tivah is a separate fitting if you need to aim it.
Up to 25 m, with the supply held within 5% of nominal. Beyond either, the warranty is void.
