A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
This is the Divad bollard from Havit Lighting in its black finish — an aluminium body, poly powder coated, on a Ø120mm section. The Divad is a garden and pathway bollard rather than a feature light: it is built to be looked past rather than looked at, putting light onto the ground along a route while keeping the source out of the way. The body is rated IP65 for dust and driving rain and IK08 for impact resistance, which is what determines how a bollard survives contact with a mower or a wheelbarrow.
The head throws a 120° beam. Spacing a run so the beams meet at ground level gives an even lit edge instead of a series of bright pools with shadow between them.
Inside is a 12W built-in LED module. It is tri-colour, so the colour temperature is set on the fitting during installation rather than being fixed when it is made: 3000K for warm light, 4000K for neutral white, or 5500K for a cool white. Output follows that choice at 960lm, 1020lm and 1080lm. Colour rendering is rated above 80 CRI. The Divad is not dimmable and is intended to run at full output.
Lamp expectancy is rated at >30,000 hrs. There is no lamp base and no globe — the LED module is integral to the fitting, so there is nothing to buy alongside it and nothing to replace later.
Two electrically different versions are sold here and they are not interchangeable. HV1629T-BLK-240V-RND runs directly from 240V AC mains and requires no driver. HV1629T-BLK-24V-RND runs on 24V DC and does require a separate 24V DC driver, which is not supplied with the fitting. Where a low-voltage garden circuit is already in the ground, check the capacity remaining on its driver before adding this head to the run.
The 240V mains version is Class 1 and requires an earth connection. Either version is work for a licensed electrician, who will confirm the earthing arrangement for the supply being used.
The Divad is designed to be fixed down to a solid base — a concrete footing or a paver — rather than pushed into soft soil, which is what keeps it standing straight through a wet season. Havit attaches a siting condition to this fitting: aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within 5km of any salt water environment. That is a warranty condition rather than a recommendation, and coastal installation is the most frequent reason a claim on an outdoor fitting is declined. Close to the sea, specify a fitting rated for marine conditions instead.
Havit warrants the fitting for 3 years on a replacement basis. If you are unsure which height in the Divad range suits your run, the team at Lights For You can talk it through against the layout you are lighting — spacing usually matters more than output.
No. The 240V AC version does not require one. The 24V DC version needs a 24V DC driver and it is not included with the fitting.
No. The 12W LED module is built in, so there is no lamp base and no replaceable globe.
The 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selection is made on the fitting when it is installed, so it is worth deciding before it is fixed down.
No. This fitting is not dimmable.
Not within 5km of a salt water environment. Havit states that aluminium and 304 stainless fittings must not be installed within that distance, and doing so puts the warranty at risk.
