A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
Two aimable heads on one metre-long stem, in a finish that starts where the others end up. The antique treatment is a darkened coating over solid brass, so this fitting arrives looking weathered rather than arriving bright and taking a couple of years to get there. That is its appeal, and it comes with a caveat Havit states about the range rather than hiding: a solid brass fitting with an additional coating may tarnish through that coating when it is installed outdoors. On a twin-head fitting there is simply more coated surface for that to happen on, so buy it because you want the colour now, not because you expect it to be fixed forever.
Each head tilts through 90° and swivels through 270° on its own, so one fitting can wash a driveway in one direction and a bed in the other from a single hole in the ground and a single cable. The cost is load. Each head carries its own 5 W MR16, so the fitting draws 10 W — a run of six is a 60 W load, and a driver sized on the single-head figure will be short. Havit's specification records the lamp wattage for this model as 2 x 5 W and the output as 2 x 270 lm at 3000K, 2 x 285 lm at 4000K and 2 x 300 lm at 5500K, which is 540, 570 or 600 lm across the fitting. The heads are wired in parallel, so one globe failing leaves the other lit.
The spike is 1000 mm long and 23 mm across. Buried or sleeved to the depth you choose, it stands the heads near knee height — path and driveway territory, not uplighting. Set that height before the cable run is closed up, because the lead exits the base of the column.
IP65, CRI above 80, and a 3-year replacement warranty.
Send your run length and fitting count to Lights For You before you order the driver — with twin-head fittings the 10 W figure and the 25 m limit are what decide it, and both are easy to miss.
This fitting runs on 12 V DC and is Protection Class 3 — no earth is required at the fitting. The isolation comes from the LED driver rather than from an earth conductor, and the fitting must never be connected directly to 240 V.
A coating, applied over solid brass. The body is the same solid brass used across this range; the darkened surface is what gives it the aged look from day one. Havit notes that a coated solid brass fitting may tarnish through the coating outdoors, so treat the colour as a starting point.
10 W. Each head takes its own 5 W MR16, and the specification for this model records the lamp wattage as 2 x 5 W. Size drivers on 10 W per fitting, not 5 W — that is the single most common planning error on a twin-head run.
Per head, 270 lm at 3000K, 285 lm at 4000K and 300 lm at 5500K, which gives 540, 570 or 600 lm across both heads. Havit prints it as 2 x 270 lm and so on, because in practice the two heads are usually aimed at different surfaces.
Yes — each has its own 90° tilt and 270° swivel, so they can face genuinely unrelated directions. Stop rotating at the mechanical limit rather than forcing past it, since the internal cable can twist and short, which is excluded from warranty.
Wherever you set them. The 1000 mm stem is buried or sleeved to suit the position, so the heads generally finish somewhere around knee height for path and driveway work. Fix the height before the cable run is buried.
No. The sheets covering this part number record it as not dimmable, so it should not be specified into a dimmed circuit.
A suitable 12 V DC LED driver within 25 m, holding supply within 5% of 12 V — both are warranty conditions rather than suggestions. Do not connect the fitting directly to 240 V.
