The Wishes is a 430 mm glazed ceramic table lamp with a slightly tapered ivory fabric shade, in black, blue or red.

Red is genuinely rare in lighting

Black is the neutral and blue the usual decorative choice. Red is uncommon enough in a lighting catalogue to be worth pointing out — a strong, warm glaze that will anchor the palette of whatever surface it stands on rather than blending into it.

Glazed ceramic, so it reflects the room

A gloss glaze picks up window light by day and lamp light at night, giving the colour depth a matt finish cannot. It is also breakable in a way metal is not — handle it by the body, not the shade, and keep it back from the edge of a surface.

A tapered shade throws light down

The ivory shade narrows slightly toward the top — ø250 mm at the top, ø200 mm at the base. That taper directs a little more light downward than a straight drum, which suits a bedside or a reading table.

Compact enough for a bedside

430 mm tall on a ø220 mm base — genuinely small, unlike most of the decorative ceramic lamps in this range. It will fit a narrow bedside without crowding it.

E27 to 25 W, not supplied

A warm globe suits all three glazes; cool white will grey the red and flatten the blue.

430 mm tall, base ø220 mm, shade ø250 mm top / ø200 mm base, cable 1,800 mm, in glazed ceramic with a fabric shade and black PVC cable. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty. Wipe clean with a dry cloth — no strong liquid cleaners.

Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Glazed ceramic varies between firings — order a pair together if they are flanking a bed.

Three glazes: black, blue or red, all with an ivory shade. Red is genuinely uncommon in a lighting catalogue.

Which globe suits it?

A warm one. Cool white greys the red glaze and flattens the blue.

How big is it?

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

Your Options

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
