The Neris 0500 is a 500 mm LED batten — 12 W for 1,200 lm at CRI above 90, fixed 4000 K — in white.

CRI above 90, which battens almost never have

This is what separates it from a hardware-store batten. Ordinary battens sit at CRI 70–80 and make everything under them look grey. At >90 the Neris renders paint, timber, fabric and food properly — so it earns its place over a laundry bench where you are sorting colours, or in a garage where you need to see what you are working on.

4000 K, fixed — and that is the right choice here

Neutral white, not switchable. For the rooms a 500 mm batten actually goes in — laundry, garage, pantry, storage — 4000 K is what you want: clean and clear without the blue edge of 5000 K or the softness of warm white. No switch to set, nothing to get wrong at installation.

1,200 lumens over half a metre

100 lumens per watt, and genuinely bright for its size. A 500 mm run will light a pantry, a small laundry or a stretch of bench properly.

Small and light

500 × 60 mm at 0.3 kg. Slim enough to go under a cabinet or over a narrow bench without dominating, and light enough to fix anywhere.

It does not dim

Stated plainly: non-dimmable. The old page cut off mid-word before it could tell you.

Class I — earth required. Note the difference from the Anka batten, which is double insulated. This one needs the earth terminated, so mention it to your electrician.

500 mm long, 60 mm wide, 0.3 kg. Integrated 12 W LED giving 1,200 lm at 4000 K, included, CRI >90. Not dimmable. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty. A 3 CCT Anka batten is also made, at 60 and 120 cm.

How is it different from a hardware-store batten?

Can I change the colour temperature?

No — 4000 K fixed. For a laundry, garage, pantry or storage room that is the right choice: clean and clear, with no switch to set wrong at installation.

Can I dim it?

How bright is it?

1,200 lm from 12 W — 100 lumens per watt, and genuinely bright for 500 mm.

Does it need an earth?

Yes — it is Class I. Worth mentioning to your electrician, because the Anka batten is double insulated and this one is not.

Will it fit under a cabinet?

500 × 60 mm at 0.3 kg — slim and light enough for an under-cabinet or over-bench run.

Are there other sizes?

Not in the Neris. The Anka batten comes at 60 and 120 cm with three switchable colour temperatures.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
