Anka 60Cm LED Batten Ceiling Light

The Anka 0600 is a 600 mm LED batten ceiling light in black or white — 18 W giving 1,600 lm, with switchable 2700 K / 3000 K / 4000 K and CRI above 90.

CRI above 90 on a batten — that is genuinely unusual

Battens are the most utilitarian fitting in any range. They go in garages, laundries, workshops, sheds and pantries, and they are normally specified on price and lumens alone, sitting at CRI 80 or below. The Anka is above 90. In a laundry that means you can match colours; in a workshop it means you can see what you are actually working on. It is the reason to choose it over the cheapest batten on the shelf.

A warm-shifted colour range, which battens almost never offer

2700 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, switchable — and note there is no cool setting at all. Most battens are fixed at 4000 K or 6500 K, which is why they look institutional. At 2700 K the Anka can sit in a hallway, a pantry or a walk-in robe without announcing itself as workshop lighting. That flexibility is what takes a batten out of the garage.

1,600 lumens from 18 watts

89 lm/W — efficient, and enough to light a single-car garage, a laundry or a large pantry on its own. Only 60 mm wide and projecting 36 mm, so it is a slim line on the ceiling rather than the bulky boxes battens used to be, and at 0.23 kg it fixes to almost anything.

The smaller of two

The Anka also comes at 1,200 mm. Both share the same 60 mm width, the same colours and the same CRI above 90, so a garage with a long run and a laundry with a short one will match exactly.
