Product Description
xThe Loria 40 is a batten fix ceiling light with a ø400 mm parchment shade, 140 mm deep. It mounts straight onto a standard batten holder — the tidy replacement for a bare ceiling fitting, with no rewiring.
This is the LARGE Loria, despite the listing name. It is ø400 mm. The ø300 mm Loria is the small one, listed separately.
It also takes a B22 bayonet globe, not an E27 screw. Most fittings in this range are E27, so a spare from the cupboard probably will not fit. No globe is supplied.
Batten fix means a swap, not a rewire
It attaches to the batten holder most Australian ceilings already have, so it replaces a plain fitting with no new wiring. A licensed electrician still does the swap — DIY electrical work is not legal in Australia. That makes it one of the few genuine upgrades available in a rental.
Parchment gives a warm, soft light
The shade is parchment rather than glass, so it diffuses gently and warms the light. At ø400 mm and only 140 mm deep it covers a good area of ceiling while staying close to it — which suits a standard room height.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
