Product Description
xThe Akira is a batten fix ceiling light — a ø150 mm shade, 220 mm high, that mounts straight onto a standard batten holder. It is the tidy replacement for a bare ceiling fitting, with no rewiring.
Three combinations, not four. The listing name mentions White/Chrome. Only Black/Oak, White/Copper and White/Oak are stocked.
It also takes a B22 bayonet globe, not an E27 screw. Most fittings in this range are E27, so check what you have before assuming a spare will fit. No globe is supplied.
Batten fix means a swap, not a rewire
It attaches to the batten holder most Australian ceilings already have. That makes it a genuine like-for-like upgrade for a plain bedroom or hallway fitting, and a sensible option in a rental where rewiring is out of the question.
Timber and metal, in three pairings
Black with oak, white with copper, white with oak. The timber tone warms what is otherwise a plain ceiling fitting, which is the reason to choose it over a bare batten holder or a plain oyster.

No. Despite the listing name, only Black/Oak, White/Copper and White/Oak are stocked.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
