The Rana floor lamp is a 1,800 mm stand carrying a ø400 mm hand-woven rattan teardrop shade, in black, brown or natural.

At 1.8 m, the shadows land on the ceiling

This is where a rattan shade earns its keep. Raised well above head height, the woven pattern is thrown up onto the ceiling and out across the wall — a table lamp casts it on a surface, a floor lamp casts it across the room. The globe controls how sharp it is: a clear globe gives distinct lines, a frosted one a soft wash.

7.7 kg, and it needs to be

A wide shade at the top of a 1.8 m pole is a lever. The base weighs enough to counter it — which also means this is a lamp you position once rather than move about.

Three finishes, three different rooms

Natural is the coastal classic. Brown is warmer and reads closest to timber. Black turns the same weave graphic and modern — the shadows become the feature rather than the material, which is the most striking of the three at this size.

Hand-woven, so each is its own

Colour and weave tension vary between pieces. It is the nature of rattan, and it means a matched pair is not really possible.

The family is complete

Rana is made as a pendant, floor lamp and table lamp, the table lamp in three sizes. A floor lamp here with a ø400 mm table lamp beside it is the same shade at two heights.

Assembly required, no installation needed. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. RCM approved. Warranty is three years. Wipe clean with a dry cloth — no liquid cleaners.
