Product Description
xThe Hoff floor lamp is the tall version of the Hoff family — a ø250 mm opal matt glass shade on a slim stem rising to 1,500 mm, over a ø250 mm black marble base.
Marble is doing structural work
A 1.5 m lamp on a narrow stem needs weight at the bottom or it tips. The marble base provides it without a wide footprint, so the lamp stands beside furniture rather than in front of it. It also means the lamp is heavy to move — decide the position before carrying it in.
Opal glass, so no glare at standing height
At 1,500 mm the shade is near eye level for anyone standing. Opal matt glass means you can look at it without discomfort, which a clear or open shade at that height cannot claim.
40 W of headroom
It takes a single E27 globe up to 40 W — more than the 25 W common in this range — and no globe is supplied. Behind opal glass, which absorbs some output, that extra capacity is useful.

- Beside a sofa or armchair as ambient light.
- Living room corners a ceiling fitting does not reach.
- Bedrooms, as a softer alternative to an overhead light.
- Paired with the Hoff table lamp in the same room.
Specifying it
Height 1,500 mm, shade ø250 mm, base ø250 mm, in marble, iron and opal matt glass. One E27 globe up to 40 W, not supplied. It is Class II — double insulated, no earth required, and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Dimming is globe dependent. Warranty is three years.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You. Marble is porous — keep the base off wet surfaces and wipe spills promptly.

How tall is it?

Why a marble base?
It is structural. A 1.5 m lamp on a narrow stem needs weight at the bottom, and marble provides it without a wide footprint.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe of up to 40 W — more capacity than most in this range — supplied separately.
Will it glare?
No. The opal matt glass diffuses the globe, which matters at 1,500 mm where the shade is near standing eye level.
Does it need an electrician?
No. It is double insulated and plugs into a normal outlet.
Is there a matching table lamp?
Yes — the Hoff table lamp uses the same marble and opal matt glass.
What is the warranty?
Three years, as a replacement warranty.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
