Product Description
xWifi Fan Controller in White
This is a controller for a ceiling fan. It replaces the wall control or adds control from a phone, so fan speed and any light in the fan can be set without a pull cord or a separate handset.
⚠ It controls a fan; it is not a fan and not a light. Check it against the fan you actually have before ordering.
How it connects
It works over WiFi.
WiFi control needs no hub - the unit joins the network directly, which makes it the simplest option to set up and the one that depends on your router staying reachable.
⚠ Every part of the chain has to speak the same protocol. Mixing systems is the most common reason a control setup does not respond as expected.

Living with a fan controller
Fan control is where mismatches show up most often, because a fan and its controller have to agree on more than a lamp and a dimmer do - speed steps, direction, and any light in the fan body.
⚠ Confirm the controller against the actual fan model before ordering. A controller that half-works - speed but not direction, or the fan but not its light - is the usual result of assuming compatibility.
Keep a way to run the fan without the app. Bedrooms are where fan controls are used most, and at 2am nobody wants to find a phone first.
Installation
This unit connects to mains and must be installed by a licensed electrician. It fits a standard wall position, so in most cases it takes the place of an existing switch rather than needing new wiring.
⚠ Check the depth of the existing wall box before ordering. A smart switch carries electronics behind its face and needs more room than the mechanical switch it replaces - that is the most common reason one will not fit.
Decide where it goes before the walls are finished. A control wants to be where people reach for it - by the door they come in through, not the one the wiring happened to arrive at.

No. It is a control unit. The lighting still needs whatever supply it normally uses - for LED strip, that means a driver.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
