The Domus SUSP 2M KIT is a 2 metre suspension kit for track and linear fittings — sold each.
| Kit | Length in the title | ⛔ Length recorded |
|---|---|---|
| ⭐ SUSP 2M — this | 2,000 mm | ⛔ 2 mm |
| SUSP 3M | 3,000 mm | ⛔ 100 mm |
| TRAK-3 1.5M | 1,500 mm | ⛔ 100 mm |
| TRAK-3 3.0M | 3,000 mm | ⛔ 100 mm |
⭐ No datasheet is attached to this product, and beyond the length there is no published information: no cable type, no maximum supported weight, no compatible fitting list, and no warranty. ⭐⭐ THE WEIGHT LIMIT IS THE ONE WORTH HAVING — ⭐ a suspension kit rated for a light track is not necessarily rated for a loaded three-circuit track with a dozen heads on it. ⭐ Tell us what you are hanging and how long the run is, and we will confirm the kit suits before you order.
| Specification | Value |

| ⭐ Suspension length | ⭐ 2 metres — ⭐ from the title |
| ⛔ Length field records | ⛔ 2 mm — ⭐ a factor of 1,000 |
| ⭐ Scope, measured | ⭐ 4 suspension kits, 0 record their length |
| ⭐ And two different lengths | ⭐ Both record 100 mm — ⭐ so the field means something else |
| ⭐ Adjustment | ⭐ Downward only — ⭐ buy long and shorten |
| ⚠ Sold | ⚠ Each — ⭐ a fitting needs at least two |
| ⭐ Spacing on a long run | ⭐ One every ~1.5–2 m to prevent sag |

2 metre suspension kit for track and linear fittings. Sold each. Adjustable downward. ⛔⛔ ITS LENGTH FIELD READS 2 mm ON A TWO-METRE KIT — a factor of a thousand. And it is not isolated: across four suspension kits in this catalogue, NOT ONE records its actual length, and the two TRAK-3 kits at 1.5 m and 3.0 m record the SAME 100 mm. That is what settles it — the field is not recording the suspension length at all. ⭐ THE TITLE IS THE RELIABLE SOURCE: this kit suspends 2 metres. ⭐ BUY LONG AND SHORTEN, because kits adjust downward and not up.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Two metres, from the title. Its length field publishes 2mm, which is the same number with the wrong unit — a factor of a thousand. The title is the reliable source here.
No. Across the four suspension kits in this catalogue, not one records its actual length: the 2M kit says 2mm, the 3M kit says 100mm, and both TRAK-3 kits — at 1.5m and 3.0m — record the same 100mm. Two different lengths recording the same value is what settles it: the field is not recording the suspension length at all, and is probably a packaging or component dimension.
It means you cannot sort or filter these by drop, and a specification table built from the record would be wrong on every one of them. On a product where the drop length is essentially the only thing to choose, that is more consequential than it would be elsewhere.
Yes — kits adjust downward, not upward. A 2m kit can be set to hang at 600mm; it cannot be made to reach 2.5m. So buy long and shorten: the excess wire is trimmed or coiled at the canopy.
At least two per fitting, and on a long run one roughly every 1.5 to 2 metres to stop it sagging. They are sold each, so count them against the run length before ordering rather than assuming a kit does a whole fitting.
In a commercial space with a high ceiling, the usual aim is to bring the fitting to 2.4 to 3 metres above the floor — low enough to light the working plane properly, high enough to stay out of the way. From a 4.5m ceiling that is a 1.5 to 2m drop. Over a retail display you may want lower, but check the sightline: a suspended run at 2.2m cuts a room visually in a way it does not at 2.8.
Rather a lot — no datasheet, no cable type, no maximum supported weight, no compatible fitting list and no warranty. The weight limit is the one worth having: a kit rated for a light track is not necessarily rated for a loaded three-circuit track with a dozen heads on it. Tell us what you are hanging and how long the run is and we will confirm before you order.
