• ⭐ Earlier in this programme we found that the suspension kits do not record their suspension length: a 2 m kit reads 2 mm, a 3 m kit reads 100 mm, and both TRAK-3 suspension kits — at 1.5 m and 3.0 m — read the same 100 mm.
• ⭐⭐ THIS ROD KIT RECORDS 1,100 mm FOR A 1.0 m KIT. ⭐ Correct, allowing for the canopy and fixing at each end.
• ⭐ SO THE FAULT BELONGS TO SUSPENSION KITS SPECIFICALLY, NOT TO “TRAK-3 ACCESSORIES”. ⭐ A narrower claim is a better one, and it makes the correction more precisely targeted.
• ⭐ For a buyer, the practical consequence is simply that this listing's dimensions can be trusted.

⭐ Rigid rod versus wire — a genuine engineering choice

• ⭐⭐ THE DECISIVE ADVANTAGE OF ROD IS THAT THE TRACK STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT. ⭐ A wire-hung track run moves in air currents from doors, air conditioning and passing traffic, and on a long run adjacent sections drifting out of line with each other is visually obvious. ⭐ Rod removes that entirely.
