⭐ The tallest cast post — and the one with the emptiest record

• 195 cm, the tallest of three (95 cm, 157 cm, 195 cm).
• ⛔ And it records one field: the warranty. No height, no base dimensions, no spigot diameter, no footing depth, no wind rating.
• ⚠ That combination is worth stating plainly: ⭐ this is the post with the greatest structural demand in the family and the least information about how to install it.
• ⭐ Add a lantern and the assembly approaches 2.5 m. A Vienna large post top is 540 mm; on this column that is about 2.49 m to the top — a substantial object in wind, on a footing nothing specifies.
• ⭐ Settle the footing with us before ordering. ⚠ It is set in concrete and cannot be revised.

⚠ And check the height itself

The 195 cm exists only in the title. ⭐ The 95 cm post in this family is the only one that records a height in a field, and its field and title disagree by 80 mm — so a title height here has already proved unreliable once. ⭐ Ask us for the finished above-ground figure.

⭐ What 1.95 m is for

• ⭐ Drives, entrances and frontages, where you want a lantern well clear of eye level and throwing a wide pool.
• ⭐ Height buys spread — a lantern at 2 m covers considerably more ground than the same lantern at 1.57 m.
• ⚠ It also buys presence. On a modest frontage a 2.5 m assembly on a cast column will dominate; ⭐ the 157 cm post is the better-scaled general choice.
• ⭐ Work out the finished height including the lantern before choosing the post — lanterns in these ranges run from 490 mm to 540 mm, which is a real addition.

⭐ It is a post, not a light — and you may need an adaptor

• ⚠ No lantern included. ⭐ Post-top spigots are not standardised, and three adaptors are made: 43 mm, 50 mm and 60 mm (GTA-140, 141, 142).
• ⛔ No spigot diameter is recorded here, so which adaptor is needed cannot be worked out from the page. ⛔ Nothing in the catalogue connects the posts, the lanterns and the adaptors.
