The Domus GTA-220 is a cast post — a bare column for mounting a post-top lantern, 195 cm tall. Five powder-coated colours.
Up to 10 business days for production before it ships. ⚠ Order the post, the lantern and any adaptor together.
The 195 cm exists only in the title. ⭐ The 95 cm post in this family is the only one that records a height in a field, and its field and title disagree by 80 mm — so a title height here has already proved unreliable once. ⭐ Ask us for the finished above-ground figure.
⚠ A cast post carries its cable up inside, and how it enters at the base decides what your electrician has to do — ⛔ and none of that is recorded. ⭐ On a 2 m column at a driveway entrance, settle it before the trench is dug.
Cast post, 195 cm. Beige, Black, Burgundy, Green or White. ⚠ Warranty 1 year. ⛔ Made to order — allow up to 10 business days. ⛔ It records ONE field, the warranty — on the tallest post in the family, where the footing matters most. With a lantern the assembly approaches 2.5 m and no footing depth, base plate, wind rating or cable entry is recorded anywhere. ⚠ The 195 cm exists only in the title, and the 95 cm post already disagrees with its own title by 80 mm. ⭐ Ask us before ordering.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Nothing is recorded — no depth, base plate size, fixing pattern, wind rating or cable entry detail — and this is the post where that matters most. It is the tallest of the three, and with a lantern on top the assembly approaches 2.5m: a substantial object in wind, on a footing nothing specifies. That combination of the greatest structural demand and the least information is worth stating plainly. Settle it with us before ordering, because it is set in concrete and cannot be revised.
195cm according to the title, which is the only measurement this listing carries — it records one field, the warranty. There is a reason to verify rather than assume: the 95cm cast post is the only one of the three recording a height in a field, and its field and title disagree by 80mm. So a title height in this family has already proved unreliable once. Ask us for the finished above-ground figure before ordering.
Around 2.5m. Lanterns in these ranges run from 490mm to 540mm — a Vienna large post top is 540mm, which on this column gives about 2.49m to the top. That is worth working out before you choose the post rather than after: half a metre changes the answer, and on a modest frontage a 2.5m assembly on a cast column will dominate. The 157cm post is the better-scaled general choice.
No — this is the column only. You will need a post-top lantern, and possibly an adaptor between the two, because post-top spigots are not standardised. Three adaptors are made, for 43mm, 50mm and 60mm. No spigot diameter is recorded here, so which one you need cannot be worked out from the page — nothing in the catalogue connects the posts, the lanterns and the adaptors to one another. Tell us the lantern and we will specify the whole assembly.
For drives, entrances and frontages, where you want the lantern well clear of eye level and throwing a wide pool — height buys spread, and a lantern at 2m covers considerably more ground than the same lantern at 1.57m. It also buys presence, which is the reason not to use it everywhere: on a modest frontage it will dominate where the 157cm post sits comfortably.
Up inside the post — but how it enters at the base is not recorded, and that detail decides what your electrician has to do. On a 2m column at a driveway entrance it is worth settling before the trench is dug rather than after. Ask us and we will get the entry detail from Domus along with the footing specification; both are short questions with definite answers.
Up to 10 business days for production. Domus builds it to order because the powder coat is applied in your chosen colour after ordering, which is why five colours are offered. Order the post, the lantern and any adaptor together — separate orders are separate finish batches, and on an assembly this size a colour difference between post and lantern would be visible from the road.
