Product Description
xPinta is a recessed step light with an eyelid — a small hood over the aperture that blocks the direct view of the source, so you see the lit tread and not the fitting. On a flight of stairs, that is the difference between guidance and glare.
Four versions, one aperture
- HV2921 — G9 base up to 25 W, lamp not included.
- HV2922 — G4 base up to 20 W, lamp not included.
- HV2923T — 240V with a built-in tri-colour LED.
- HV2924T — 12V DC with a built-in tri-colour LED; requires a driver.
Specifying it
Choose a lamp-base version when you want to swap globes later, or a built-in LED version for a sealed, maintenance-free fitting. The tri-colour models select 3000K, 4000K or 5500K at install and produce 160–180 lm. IP65 rated in a black powder-coated aluminium body, CRI above 80.
Note the 2-year replacement warranty. The 240V versions require an earth; the 12V version does not. Install by a licensed electrician.
Common questions
What does the eyelid do?
It hoods the aperture so you see the lit tread instead of the light source — the difference between guidance and glare on a stairway.
Which version should I choose?
HV2921 (G9) or HV2922 (G4) if you want to swap globes later; HV2923T (240V) or HV2924T (12V) for a sealed built-in LED.
Is a globe included?
Not on HV2921 or HV2922 — those take a G9 (25 W max) or G4 (20 W max) lamp separately. The T models have a built-in LED.
Do I need a driver?
Only for HV2924T, which runs on 12V DC. The 240V versions wire straight to mains and require an earth.
What is the warranty?
2 years replacement.
What light output do the LED versions give?
160 lm at 3000K, 170 lm at 4000K and 180 lm at 5500K.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
