Product Description
xThe Volen PE1 is a single pendant in matt black with gold accents and black smoke glass — integrated LED, 8 W giving 325 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable.
There is a choice of centre tube, and we cannot tell which ships. The Volen is made with either a perforated tube, which scatters light for a softer diffused effect, or a closed opal cover, which keeps the output focused downward. Tell us which you want and we will confirm before it ships.
Made to be used in numbers
325 lumens is a single pendant’s worth — a defined pool rather than room lighting. That is the intent: hang three in a row over an island, or a pair either side of a bed, where the outputs add up and the repetition is the effect. The four and five-light Volens do the same job in one fitting if separate points are impractical.
The centre tube changes what it does
Perforated throws small points of light sideways, so the pendant glows and decorates the wall behind it. Closed opal sends everything down, so it is quieter to look at and brighter on the bench. Same fitting, two quite different results — worth deciding deliberately.
Smoke glass keeps the source visible
Tinted but transparent, so you see into it rather than at a glowing shade. That is what makes the Volen read as an object, and it is why the gold accents are there — they catch light through the tint.
It dims — TRIAC
Leading-edge, the common Australian type. Hang three and they all dim together from one dimmer. Check compatibility with us if yours is trailing-edge or smart.
The LED is integrated
Included, so a row of three arrives already matched — no globes to source and no risk of one reading a different white through the smoke glass.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
