TIPICO 9 LIGHT PENDANT

The Tipico PE9 is a ø890 mm nine-light round pendant — integrated LEDs at 6 W each, 2,066 lm in total, 3000 K — in gun metal or gold.

Round, for a round table

Nine points arranged in a circle sit naturally over a round or square dining table, where a straight bar overhangs the corners and leaves the sides dark. If your table is rectangular, the six-light bar is the right one — and that is the opposite of what the light count suggests.

Nine separate points, not one glowing ring

The count and the spacing are the design. Rather than a continuous illuminated circle, the Tipico places nine discrete sources around the frame, so it reads as a constellation rather than a halo — and each person seated gets a point of light above them.

2,066 lumens — better than its sibling, still gentle

At 54 W for 2,066 lm the nine-light is noticeably more efficient than the six (which manages 798 lm from 36 W). It will do real work over a table. It is still not a task light — plan other lighting in the room if you need brightness.

It is heavy — 7 kg

Nearly a metre across in iron, glass and aluminium. Tell your electrician before installation day: this wants a proper structural fixing, not a plasterboard anchor.

Gun metal or gold

Gun metal is dark, cool and industrial — it recedes and lets the nine points do the work. Gold is warm and reflective, so the ring itself becomes part of the display. On a decorative pendant the finish matters more than usual, because the metal is what you see when it is off.

Shallow for its width

ø890 mm across but only 130 mm deep, canopy ø200 mm, suspension 2,000 mm. Nearly a metre wide with almost no drop, so it works under an ordinary ceiling.
