Product Description
xThe Tarson 1T is a ø800 mm illuminated ring — only 40 mm thick — in black with gold, integrated LED at 40 W for 1,048 lm.
Eighty centimetres across and four centimetres thick
That ratio is the product. A ring twenty times wider than it is deep reads as a drawn circle of light rather than an object hanging in the room — from the side it nearly disappears, and from below it is a clean unbroken halo. It is also why it weighs only 2.2 kg at that size.
Our two sources differ tenfold on the thickness — 40 mm on the datasheet, 400 mm in the record. 40 mm is what a single-tier ring is, and it is what we publish. If the depth is critical to your ceiling, ask us and we will confirm.
Black with gold
A matte black ring with gold — the gold catching light along the inner edge where the LED sits, so the halo reads warm even though the frame is dark. On a large plain form that single accent is what stops it looking industrial.
1,048 lumens — presence, not brightness
Be clear about the scale: 40 W producing 1,048 lm is about 26 lumens per watt, which is decorative. An 800 mm ring is bought for the shape it draws in a room. Plan other light if the space has to be usable.
A single tier — there is a three-tier too
Tarson is made as a single-tier ring and a three-tier. The single is the quiet version, and it is the one that suits an ordinary ceiling; the three-tier stacks rings at different heights and needs a void or a stairwell to be seen properly.
Silicon in the build
Alongside iron there is silicon — absent from our record — and it is what diffuses the LED into a continuous line around the ring rather than a row of visible dots. On a form this simple, that evenness is the whole execution.
It does not dim
One level only, at 3000 K.

Questions
How thick is the ring?
40 mm — twenty times narrower than it is wide, which is what makes it read as a drawn circle rather than an object. Our record says 400 mm; the datasheet says 40 mm and that is what a single-tier ring is.
Is it bright enough to light a table?
No — 1,048 lm from 40 W is about 26 lumens per watt, which is decorative. An 800 mm ring is bought for the shape it draws. Plan other light if the space has to be usable.
How heavy is it?
Only 2.2 kg at 800 mm across — the thin section is what allows it.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
