Product Description
xThe Rias PE2T is a 600 mm two-tier crystal pendant in gold or chrome — 70 W giving 7,000 lm, with switchable 3300 K / 4200 K / 6500 K and dimming by Bluetooth remote.
⚠ It is 2.65 metres tall. Read that before anything else. Not the drop — the fitting itself, from the top of the crystal to the bottom, is 2,650 mm, on a 2,500 mm suspension.
It is the tallest fitting in this catalogue — taller than the 1.84-metre Mio. From a standard 2.4-metre ceiling it does not fit at all. The Rias is designed for a void, a stairwell, a double-height entry or an atrium, and in those spaces it is spectacular.
Measure your ceiling height first. As a rule of thumb you want at least 4 metres for this to hang properly, and the suspension is adjustable downward, not up.
7,000 lumens — and the colour range our record lost
70 W at 100 lm/W, which is efficient for crystal and consistent with the other crystal fittings in this range. At 7,000 lm it will light an entire double-height space on its own — the second brightest fitting found in this catalogue, after the Lucent.
The warm setting is missing from our record. It carries 4200 K and 6500 K only. The fitting also has 3300 K — the warm setting — and on a 7,000-lumen fitting in an entry or a stairwell, that is very likely the one you will actually use. Our data showed a fitting that only goes neutral and cold.
Bluetooth remote — and what that means practically
The Rias dims by Bluetooth remote, and our record reduced that to “Dimmable: Yes”. On a fitting hanging 2.65 metres into a stairwell that is not a detail: there is no way to reach it, so remote control is the only control.
⚠ Confirm before ordering: whether the remote handset is supplied, and whether it pairs with a phone or is a dedicated handset only. No source records either. Ask us and we will confirm with Telbix. On a fitting this size and this inaccessible, losing the only control would be a serious problem.
Two tiers of crystal on stainless steel
Crystal and stainless steel, in gold or gloss chrome. Two things worth knowing:
- Stainless steel rather than plated iron is a durability choice — on a fitting that will hang untouched for a decade in a space no one can reach to clean, that matters.
- The two tiers are the reason for the height. A single-tier crystal fitting reads from below; a two-tier one reads from the side, which in a stairwell seen from a landing or an upper floor is exactly what you want.
8 kilograms on a 210 mm canopy, projecting 70 mm. Heavy, and hanging a long way down — which puts movement as well as weight into the fixing. This needs an engineered fixing, and your electrician needs the figures before the ceiling is opened: 8 kg, 2.65 m of fitting, 2.5 m of drop.
It is Class I — earth required and IP20 — indoor and dry locations only.
Part of a wide range
Rias comes as pendants and close-to-ceiling fittings in a range of circular sizes, all in the same crystal and stainless steel. So a two-tier pendant in the stairwell and a close-to-ceiling Rias in the rooms off it read as one scheme — which on a fitting this dominant is worth planning.

How tall is it?
2,650 mm — 2.65 metres, and that is the fitting itself, not the drop. It is the tallest fitting in this catalogue, taller than the 1.84-metre Mio, and from a standard 2.4-metre ceiling it does not fit at all. As a rule of thumb you want at least 4 metres of ceiling height.
What colour temperatures does it have?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
