Pelion Pendant Light in Antique Gold or Chrome

The Pelion 1Lt is a compact ribbed glass pendant — 180 mm across, 230 mm high — in polished antique gold or chrome.

Ribbed glass wants a visible filament

Vertical ribs do almost nothing behind a frosted globe and come alive behind a clear one — the ribs catch and repeat the filament down the length of the glass. Fit a clear decorative E27 and the pendant is complete; a plain frosted globe wastes the design entirely.

Polished, not aged

Both finishes are polished rather than matt or antiqued, so they reflect the room and the light. Against a dark ceiling or dark joinery that reflection is what stops a small pendant disappearing.

Small enough to group

180 × 180 × 230 mm and 2.5 kg. A single Pelion suits a bedside or a corner; two or three in a row is what suits an island. On a wide bench, one alone will look undersized.

1.5 m of suspension

Cut to height on site. Over a bench, hang the base roughly 750–900 mm above the surface.

The family goes larger

Pelion is made as a one, four and five light pendant in the same ribbed glass. ⚠ Ask us before ordering the five-light — our sources disagree on which globe it takes, and we would rather confirm than have you buy five wrong ones.

180 × 180 mm, 230 mm high, weight 2.5 kg, canopy 120 × 120 × 20 mm, suspension 1,500 mm, in iron and ribbed glass. One E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
