Product Description
xThe Orista is a 500 mm dual-tiered six-light fitting in solid brass, combining leaded glass above and acid-frost glass below — and it can be mounted close to the ceiling.
Two tiers, two different glasses
The upper tier is leaded glass — panels joined with lead came, the technique used in stained-glass windows, which leaves visible dark lines between each panel. The lower tier is acid-frost, etched to diffuse evenly. So the fitting throws patterned light upward and soft light downward from the same body. That division is the whole design.
Solid brass, handcrafted
Not plated. Brass keeps its finish where plating wears at the edges, and it patinas rather than flaking. The frame is handmade, so small variations between pieces are inherent.
Pendant or close to ceiling
Like the Valmont, you choose at installation: hang it on the 1,500 mm suspension, or mount it tight to the ceiling. Useful where the ceiling height is uncertain.
Six E27 globes, not supplied
25 W each, 150 W total. Behind leaded and acid-frost glass a plain warm globe is right — a decorative filament would be broken up by the leading and hidden by the frost.
How it compares to the Valmont
The Valmont is the five-light sibling at the same 500 mm width, using water glass and acid frost with hand-pressed brass emblems. The Orista adds a sixth light and swaps water glass for leaded. Both mount either way.

Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Questions
What is leaded glass?
Panels joined with lead came — the technique used in stained-glass windows — which leaves visible dark lines between panels. Here it forms the upper tier.
Why two different glasses?
The leaded upper tier throws patterned light upward; the acid-frost lower tier diffuses soft light downward. One fitting doing two things.
Can it be mounted flush to the ceiling?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
