LERIDA 12 LIGHT ROUND

The Lerida PE12 is a ø600 mm crystal sphere — twelve G9 globes in an iron frame set with crystal — in chrome or gold.

A sphere, and the range’s other shape is a rectangle

Lerida is made in two shapes — this round sphere and an elongated rectangle. That is the real choice, and it is a choice about the room rather than the light count: a sphere suits a round table, a stairwell or an entry where it is seen from all sides; the rectangle suits a long table where a sphere would leave the ends dark.

Iron and crystal — and both are doing work

The frame is iron; the sphere carries crystal. That contrast is the product: the metal gives it structure and weight, and the crystal catches and multiplies the twelve small sources. Twelve G9 capsules behind plain glass would be twelve points of light; behind crystal they become a great many more.

600 millimetres in every direction

ø600 mm and 600 mm high — a genuine sphere, not a flattened one. That matters for placement: it needs space around it and below it, and it reads best seen from more than one level. A stairwell or a double-height entry is where a sphere earns its keep.

Twelve G9 globes, not supplied

G9 is a small capsule base, not a screw fitting — check what you are buying. A modern 6 W LED capsule gives around 350 lm, so the fitting delivers roughly 4,200 lm — enough to light a dining room properly. Buy all twelve in one order: behind crystal, a single globe of a different white shows across the whole sphere. Dimming is globe dependent.

Assembly is required

A crystal sphere arrives to be built. Allow time on installation day, and note that your electrician will be assembling as well as fitting.

ø600 mm, 600 mm high, in iron and crystal. Twelve G9 globes at 6 W each — 72 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V (240 V~50Hz), Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Assembly required. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
