The Henger is a narrow cylinder pendant, Ø40mm and 400mm long, in black or white. It is a tube rather than a shade, and the proportion is the point: at 40mm across it reads as a line hanging in the space rather than as an object occupying it.
That makes it a fitting you hang in numbers. One Henger over a bench is a detail; three or five in a row over an island, or a cluster at staggered heights in a stairwell void, is what the fitting is designed for.
The Henger throws a 60° beam, which is narrow for a pendant. It puts a defined circle of light on the surface below rather than spilling sideways into the room, and that is the single most important thing to understand before specifying it.
Used over a bar, an island or a display it is exactly right — the light lands where it is aimed and the room around it stays dark. Used as general room lighting it will disappoint, because a narrow beam from a small aperture lights the floor and very little else.
The fitting draws 6W and is tri-colour, with 3000K, 4000K or 5500K selected on the fitting at installation rather than fixed at manufacture, rated at 480lm, 520lm and 500lm respectively. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI.
Where several are hung together, set them all at the same time and to the same value. In a row of narrow pendants a single fitting on a different colour setting is unmistakable.
The Henger runs on 240V AC mains and requires no driver. It is a Class 1 fitting and requires an earth connection, so installation is work for a licensed electrician. The suspension is adjustable and Havit lists the fitting as dimmable.
Drop height carries more weight on a narrow directional pendant than on a wide diffuse one, because the beam size on the surface changes noticeably with height. Hang one and look at it before committing the rest of a run — that is much easier than adjusting five afterwards.
Ø40mm and 400mm long.
60°, which is narrow — it puts a defined pool of light on the surface below rather than lighting the room.
Yes, and that is how the fitting is usually used. Set them all to the same colour temperature.
No. The 6W LED is built into the fitting.
Yes. It is Class 1 on 240V AC mains.
