DOVER 33 PENDANT

The Dover PE33 is a 330 mm three-light pendant in black or antique silver, with an iron frame over a fabric inner shade — three E14 globes to 25 W each, not supplied, on a 2,000 mm suspension.

An iron cage over a fabric drum

The Dover is two shades in one: an open iron frame with a fabric drum inside it doing the diffusing.

• The fabric hides every globe — no glare, no bright points from any angle.
• The iron frame throws a shadow pattern onto the ceiling and walls, because light passes through the cage on its way out.

The result is a soft glowing drum inside a graphic outline. A plain fabric pendant gives the first without the second; an open cage gives the second with glare.

The smallest of three — and the one that hangs in groups

330 mm across, 567 mm high, at 3.8 kg, on a 130 mm canopy with 2,000 mm of adjustable drop. At this size a single Dover is a detail rather than a centrepiece: it works over a bench or island in a run of two or three, or alone in a small entry, a hallway or beside a stair. Over a dining table by itself it will look undersized — the 450 mm is the one for that.

Three globes, hidden

Three E14 to 25 W each — 75 W total, none supplied. The fabric hides them completely, so brightness and warmth are the only decisions — no decorative filaments needed. Buy three identical warm 2700 K E14 LEDs, and buy them in one go if you are hanging several pendants, so every drum matches.

Black or antique silver

Black makes the cage graphic — a hard outline around a soft glow, with a crisp shadow pattern. Antique silver is weathered rather than polished, so the frame catches light unevenly and reads softer and older. In a run of three, the weathered finish varies slightly between pieces, which reads as hand-made rather than repeated.

Where it works

• Over benches and islands, in runs of two or three.
• Small entries, hallways and beside stairs, singly.
• Bedside, where the fabric drum means no glare.
• ⚠ Alone over a dining table it will look undersized — use the 450 mm.
• ⚠ 3.8 kg each. Tell your electrician the pendant count.

330 mm across by 567 mm high, canopy 130 mm with a 20 mm projection, suspension 2,000 mm and adjustable, 3.8 kg, in iron and fabric. Three E14 globes to 25 W each — 75 W total, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class I — earth required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
