The colour changes from the switch you already have — and that is unusual

Most “three colour” fittings in this catalogue — the Thalia, the Truvon, the Torben, the Stellar — are set once, at the fitting, at installation, on a slide switch, and fixed forever after. Get it wrong and you need the electrician back.

…but it does not dim

You can change the colour of the light and not its level. At 1,580 lumens that is less of a problem than it is on the brighter pendants in this catalogue — this is a moderate output, comfortable over a table without needing to be taken down — but it is worth knowing. If you want both, ask us: the Torben linear pendant is TRIAC dimmable and offers the same three colours.

1,580 lumens, and an honest note about efficiency

40 W for 1,580 lm is 39.5 lm/W, which is low — the Truvon pendant gives 1,550 lm from 20 W, half the power for the same light.

The reason is the PVC diffuser, which absorbs a substantial share on the way out. What you buy in exchange is an even, glare-free surface with no visible LEDs — the same trade as the Vantel and the Tequo. It is a design decision, not a fault, but it means you should read the lumens, not the wattage, when comparing it with anything else.

Height-adjustable, on two metres

2,000 mm of suspension, adjustable — so it will drop low over a table or sit high in a hallway, and it can be trimmed at installation.

Black or white, in a sand finish

The sand texture is the right call and worth a word: a gloss pendant catches every downlight in the room as a hard highlight on its curve, which on a plain form is exactly the thing you notice. A fine textured coat scatters that, so the fitting reads as shape and colour rather than reflection — and it hides fingerprints and dust on a fitting you will occasionally push out of the way.

The Corsa's plain, unornamented form is what lets it sit in modern, industrial and Scandinavian rooms alike; it is designed to fit in rather than to be looked at.
