Lume Outdoor LED Wall Light

The Lume is the taller of Havit's polycarbonate cylinder wall lights — 240 mm high and 96 mm wide — with a clear plastic diffuser and an E27 socket, and it carries the more useful weather rating of the pair at IP65. That single figure is the reason to pick it: IP65 means direct rain and coastal weather, so it can go on an open facade rather than needing an eave overhead. Polycarbonate will not corrode, which pairs well with an exposed coastal position, and the standard E27 globe means you own the choice of light source.

The choice to make

Three finishes: HV3512W-BLK in black, HV3512W-PB in brass and HV3512W-WHT in white. The bodies are identical. The light character comes from the globe you fit — a warm 2700 K LED globe suits the soft 180° wash the diffuser produces, while a cooler globe pushes the fitting towards a more functional read at a side door or service entry.

Specifying it

The Lume is 240 V and wires straight to mains — there is no driver or transformer. At 240 V it is Class 2, so no earth connection is needed. The globe is an E27 large screw base and it is replaceable; a B22 bayonet, E14 or GU10 globe will not fit the socket. The maximum the socket accepts is 8 W, which is low deliberately: the clear plastic diffuser encloses the lamp and traps heat. It is Triac dimmable when fitted with a dimmable globe on a Triac-compatible dimmer. Impact rating is IK04 and rated life under 30,000 hours.
