Versa is a square up/down wall light whose distinguishing feature is an adjustable beam angle — the output can be set between roughly 5° and 120°. That is unusual in this class of fitting and it is the reason to choose it: a narrow setting throws a tight, dramatic column up a tall wall, while a wide setting becomes a soft general wash, so the same fitting can be tuned after it is mounted rather than committed to at purchase.

Why the adjustable beam matters

Most up/down lights have a fixed spread, which means the effect is decided at specification time from a catalogue number. With Versa the installer can stand back, look at the wall and set it. On a high facade a narrow beam reaches further up; on a low courtyard wall a wide beam avoids a harsh hotspot. It also rescues awkward positions where the mounting height was not ideal.

Specifying it

Tri-colour selectable at 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, in black or white powder-coated aluminium, 2 × 3W built-in LED at roughly 220–240 lm per direction. IP65 suits fully exposed walls. The LEDs are integrated, so there is no globe to buy. Confirm the supply voltage of the variant you are ordering with your electrician before wiring, and have it installed by a licensed electrician.

Power and dimming

Versa is a 12V DC fitting on this listing — every SKU here is the -12V version. It requires a 12V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240V. Size the driver for the total load of every fitting on the circuit, not for one light.

It is not dimmable. Havit's Triac dimming applies to the 240V models only, so a dimmer will not work on this version — do not specify one. The 12V DC version is Protection Class 3: no earth required.

Questions
How does the adjustable beam angle work?

The optic can be set across roughly a 5°–120° range, so the spread is chosen on the wall at install rather than fixed by the model. Narrow for reach and drama, wide for even coverage.

Can I change the beam after installation?

It is adjusted at the fitting, so it can be revisited — but that means access to the light. Get it right while the ladder is still there.

Is IP65 suitable for full exposure?

Yes. IP65 covers direct rain and wash-down, so an unprotected facade or boundary wall is within rating. In heavy salt air, rinse the powder coat with fresh water periodically.

Does it need a globe?

No. The LEDs are built in and not user-replaceable, so nothing is bought separately and nothing is changed later.

How bright is it?

Roughly 220–240 lm in each direction from 2 × 3W, depending on the colour temperature selected. That is accent and facade lighting rather than area lighting.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
