The Mika TL is a 320 mm ribbed glass and iron table lamp in satin grey — one E27 globe to 25 W, not supplied.

⚠ We will not quote you a weight for this lamp. Our datasheet records 0.14 kg — 140 grams — for a 320 mm lamp made of iron and glass. That is not credible: a glass shade of that size weighs more than 140 g on its own, and the matching Mika floor lamp is 7 kg. It looks like a decimal error for 1.4 kg, but we are not going to publish a guess. If stability on a narrow surface matters to you, ask us and we will get the measured weight from Telbix.

The ribbed detail through glass and iron

The Mika signature: the glass carries a ribbing that continues into the iron, so the two materials share a pattern rather than meeting at a join. Lit, the ribs break the light into vertical lines — the shade sparkles rather than glowing evenly, and against a plain wall that texture is most of what you see.

Small, and shaped for a shelf

320 mm tall by 180 mm wide, with a 180 mm shade 200 mm deep on a 130 mm base. That is a genuinely compact lamp — it suits a bedside table, a bookshelf or a hall console where a 500 mm lamp would dominate. The cable is 1,800 mm.

You almost certainly do not need an electrician. It is Class II — double insulated — on an 1,800 mm cable. The old page carried an electrician requirement that belongs to hard-wired fittings.

The globe is visible — choose it deliberately

One E27 to 25 W, not supplied, and behind ribbed glass it shows. A decorative filament globe completes the lamp; a plain frosted one will look unfinished. Dimming is globe dependent — a dimmable E27 with a plug-in or inline dimmer will dim it. Our record carries no value at all against dimmable.

One of a family of five

Mika runs as this table lamp, a floor lamp and three pendant sizes, all in the same ribbed glass and satin grey. Because the pattern is the recognisable part, pieces at different heights read as one family rather than three separate purchases.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
