FELTON TABLE LAMP WHITE MARBLE

The Felton TL is a 350 mm table lamp on a white marble base with an interchangeable glass shade — one G9 globe to 6 W, not supplied — in six glass finishes.

White marble reads differently from black

Same lamp, and a genuinely different object. White marble carries its veining as the feature — grey lines across a pale ground, visible from across a room — where the black base reads as a dark mass and the veining only shows up close. Practically: white sits quietly on a pale console and is the more forgiving choice; black is the one that anchors.

Six glass shades, interchangeable

• Opal Matt — fully diffusing, hides the globe, softest light of the six.
• Frost Tear — frosted teardrop; diffuse but brighter than opal.
• Smoke and Smoke Tear — grey-tinted; on a white base the contrast is strong, which is the pairing most people choose.
• Amber Tear — warm-tinted; the warmest light of the six.
• Clear Prism — faceted, sparkles and throws patterns, and shows the globe.

They swap, so the lamp is not fixed at the point of purchase — and a white base with smoke glass is a very different lamp from a white base with opal.

Dimming depends on the globe — whatever our record says

This listing records “No”. The identical black-marble listing records “Yes (Globe Dependent)”. They are the same lamp with a different stone, so one of the two was wrong. Globe dependent is correct: fit a dimmable G9 with a plug-in or inline dimmer and it dims; a plain globe will not.

Part of a whole range

Felton runs as pendants, wall lights and table lamps sharing the same six shades, with black or antique gold bases alongside the marbles. A room can carry a pendant and a table lamp in identical glass.

One G9 globe to 6 W, not supplied; dimming is globe dependent. 240 V, Class II — double insulated, no earth required, lead and plug fitted — no installation required, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. RCM approved. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.
