The Bexley TL is a 490 mm LED table lamp with touch dimming on its back — 3 W giving 270 lm at 3000 K — in black, green or white.

Touch dimming, and the sensor is on the back of the lamp. That placement is deliberate and worth knowing: the control is hidden from the front, so the lamp keeps a clean face while still being adjustable by hand. No switch on the cord, nothing to find in the dark on the visible side.

270 lumens, not 368. Our datasheet says 368 lm and our record says 270, both from 3 W. The arithmetic settles it: 368 lm from 3 W would be 123 lm/W, which no small integrated LED lamp achieves; 270 lm is 90 lm/W, which is sound. 270 is what we publish.

Green, which is genuinely uncommon

Black, green or white. A coloured table lamp is rare in this catalogue — almost everything is black, white, brass or stone. On the Bexley’s slim iron form the colour reads as a drawn shape rather than a mass, which is why green works here where a green ceramic lamp would be overbearing.

⚠ 270 lumens is a small output. This is a mood and accent lamp — enough to make a bedside or a shelf glow, and not enough to read by comfortably. It is bought for the form and the touch dimming. Plan a second light if you read in bed.

490 mm on a 140 mm base

Tall and slim — 490 mm high, 310 mm wide, on a small 140 mm base. It takes very little surface, which suits a narrow bedside table or a shelf, and the height puts light above the clutter rather than into it. Cable is 1,800 mm.

⚠ It is Class III — low voltage — so it needs a driver, and no source mentions one. The old page said an electrician was required, which is wrong for a corded lamp. Ask us and we will confirm what ships in the box.

Part of a pair

The Bexley also comes as a 1,400 mm floor lamp in the same three colours with the same touch dimming and the same 3 W output. A room can carry both at two heights, and the light will be identical.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
