Product Description
xThe Amity TL25 is a 400 mm LED table lamp in iron with a glass shade — 8 W giving 435 lm at 3000 K, with touch dimming — in black with smoke, matt brass with opal or matt brass with amber.
It dims by touch, and only a garbled datasheet cell said so. Our sheet’s cable-length field reads “Touch Dimming +180” — two facts written into one cell. The cable is 1,800 mm and the lamp has a touch dimmer. Neither our record nor the specification table says “touch”; both say only “dimmable: Yes”. So the most useful thing about this lamp — that you adjust it by touching it, with no switch to find in the dark — was effectively invisible.
Three glass options, and they are three different lamps
- Opal — fully diffusing, hides the source completely. No bright point, no glare from any angle. The one for a bedside.
- Amber — tinted warm; warms the 3000 K source further into a golden glow, at the cost of some output.
- Smoke — tinted grey on the black frame; cool and low, the lamp as an object.
Matt brass carries opal and amber; black carries smoke.
435 lumens — identical to the Amity wall light
8 W giving 435 lm at 54 lm/W, which is exactly what the matching wall light gives from the same 8 W. That consistency is useful: a bedroom with an Amity wall light above the bed and an Amity table lamp on a dresser will have the same light from both. It is ambient rather than task light — comfortable to sit with, not enough to read fine print by.
⚠ It is Class III — low voltage — so it needs a driver, and no source mentions one. The old page said an electrician was required, which is wrong for a corded lamp. Ask us and we will confirm what ships in the box.
Compact and weighted
400 mm tall by 250 mm wide on a 170 mm base, at 2.7 kg. That is solid for its size — the weight sits low and the lamp stays where you put it, which matters on something you are going to touch every night.
Part of a range of three
Amity runs as this table lamp, a floor lamp and a wall light. The floor and table lamps carry all three glass options; the wall light is stocked in matt brass with opal only. Worth knowing before you plan a matched room.

Questions
How do I dim it?
By touching the lamp — no switch to find in the dark. Worth stating plainly because only a garbled datasheet cell said so: the cable-length field reads “Touch Dimming +180”, with two facts written into one cell. Neither our record nor the specification table mentions touch.
Which glass should I choose?
Opal hides the source completely and is the one for a bedside — no bright point, no glare. Amber warms the 3000 K source into a golden glow at the cost of some output. Smoke keeps it cool and low and makes the lamp read as an object.
Does it need a driver?
It is Class III, low voltage under 54 V, so yes — and no source mentions one. Ask us to confirm what ships in the box.
Is it bright enough to read by?
It is ambient rather than task light — 435 lm, comfortable to sit with but not enough for fine print. That is the same output as the matching Amity wall light, so a room using both has consistent light.
Do I need an electrician?
The old page said so, which is wrong for a corded lamp. But do not assume it simply plugs in until we have confirmed the driver arrangement.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
