The Orson is a 400 mm table lamp with a ø260 mm shade on a marble base, in three combinations — black on black, cream on vanilla, or white on marble.

Three genuinely different moods

Black on black is the graphic one — it reads as an object even when off. Cream on vanilla is the softest, almost tonal. White on marble puts a plain white shade over a veined stone base, so the material does the talking. They are not three colourways of the same idea.

Marble means weight and variation

A stone base is heavy and stable — it will not tip on a console in a passing space. It is also natural, so every base is veined differently. If you want a matching pair either side of a bed, order them together.

A wide shade on a short lamp

ø260 mm across at 400 mm tall is a squat, horizontal proportion. It throws a broad low pool — good on a side table beside a chair, and worth measuring for on a narrow console, because the shade overhangs before the base does.

E27 to 40 W, not supplied

An ordinary replaceable globe with a generous 40 W ceiling, so you can go brighter than the usual 25 W decorative lamp allows. Colour temperature is your choice.

Three: black on black, cream on vanilla, and white on marble. They read quite differently from one another.

How big is it?

Why does the product name look like a list of codes?

The title is a raw order-code list and contains a typo. We are correcting it; the lamp itself is unaffected.

Warranties

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.

Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.

Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.

Damaged or Missing Items

Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.

If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.

Returns

Change of Mind Returns

  • Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

Our Rights

We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.

Cancellations

Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.

  • Restocking fee: 20% will apply unless otherwise stated, or unless another order of equal or greater value is placed in lieu of this re-stocking fee.
  • Credit: will be issued in the form of store credit and will be equal to the price paid.
