Product Description
xThe Akron Large is a 660 mm table lamp with a rectangular gold-lined shade over a laser-cut deco base on marble, in black or white with antique gold.
Gold lining changes the light, not just the look
A gold-lined shade reflects warm rather than neutral, so the light that falls on the table has a noticeably warmer cast than the same globe in a white-lined shade. It is a small thing that shows — on a console or a sideboard it makes the pool of light feel richer.
Marble, then metal
The base is marble with a laser-cut metal deco pattern above it. Marble gives the weight and the stability; the cut-work gives the lamp its shadow-play when lit. Both are why this reads as a considered piece rather than a generic table lamp.
Rectangular, so it sits against a wall
A rectangular shade on a 220 × 110 mm footprint suits a narrow console or a sideboard flat against a wall, where a round shade would overhang. Worth knowing if depth is your constraint.
E27 to 25 W, not supplied
An ordinary E27 globe, which you buy. Brightness and colour temperature are both your choice — the lamp has no built-in LED and no controls of its own. A warm globe suits the gold lining; a cool one fights it.

Questions
What difference does the gold lining make?
It reflects warm rather than neutral, so the pool of light on the table has a richer cast than the same globe in a white-lined shade.
Which globe should I use?
A warm one, 3000 K or below. A gold-lined shade with a cool 5000 K globe looks green.
Is a globe included?
No. One E27 globe up to 25 W, supplied separately.
Does it have brightness or colour controls?
No. An earlier version of this page said it did. Both depend entirely on the globe you fit.
Will it fit a narrow console?
Probably — the rectangular shade sits on a 220 × 110 mm footprint, shallower than a round shade of the same width.
What finishes are there?
Black with antique gold, or white with antique gold.
What is the warranty?
Three years. An earlier version of this page said one year, which was wrong.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Credits will be issued in the form of store credit or gift voucher and will be equal to the price paid for the product minus the cost of shipping. Store credit vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
