This is a suspension kit to suit HV9693-2025.

What it does

A suspension kit is the hardware that hangs a fitting or an aluminium profile below the ceiling: the cable or rod that carries the weight, and the fixings at each end.

Suspending a run is a decision about how the light behaves, not only how it looks. A profile against the ceiling can only light downwards; the same profile dropped below it lights the ceiling as well, and a lit ceiling is what stops a room reading as a dark box with bright patches in it.

The drop is the thing to get right, and to get right consistently. A run whose drop varies along its length is obvious from anywhere in the room, far more so than the same variation would be on a fitting sitting flat. Set the height once, check it along the whole length, and fix only when it reads level end to end.

Choosing and ordering
