A suggestion, not a specification. A calculator can get it wrong — have a licensed electrician confirm the driver, the total load and the wiring before you order.
The Domus PLEX-COB-10-20M is a 24 V COB LED strip — 10 W per metre, 640 LEDs per metre, 180° beam, IP54, dimmable, 20 m roll.
⭐ The PLEX-COB range publishes its run limits: 5 m from a single tail and driver, 10 m with a tail and driver at each end. ⭐ So a 20 m roll is FOUR runs, or two fed from both ends — ⚠ and four drivers, or two. ⭐ That driver count is the cost line people miss. ⭐ Tell us the run lengths AND the number of separate runs; the second figure is what sizes the order.
⭐ This listing publishes a 180° beam — ⭐ a full hemisphere, which is what a bare strip on a flat board produces. ⭐ In an open position that is a wide, soft wash. ⚠ Inside a deep profile much of it hits the channel walls, ⭐ so a shallow profile wastes less of the output than a deep one. ⭐ Which is convenient, because at 640 LEDs per metre you no longer need depth to hide dots — ⭐ the two considerations point the same way for once.

COB LED strip, 20 m roll. 10 W per metre at 24 V DC. 640 LEDs per metre, dotless. 3000 / 4000 / 5000 K. 180° beam. IP54. Dimmable. Driver required. Maximum run 5 m one feed, 10 m both ends. 3-year warranty. ⛔ THIS FAMILY IS FILED UNDER TWO CATEGORIES ONE LETTER APART — "LED Strip" holds 52 listings and "LED Strips" holds 24, and four PLEX-COB families straddle both. ⭐ SOMEONE BROWSING EITHER SEES A PARTIAL RANGE. ⭐⭐ ITS TITLE ALSO SAYS "DRIVER REQUIRED", AND 27 OTHER LISTINGS DO — so Domus has a convention for flagging that a product does not light on its own. ⛔ It is simply not applied to the aluminium PROFILES, which need a strip AND a driver and say neither.
Supplied and supported by Lights For You.
Because two product categories exist one letter apart. This listing sits under "LED Strips"; its 1m, 5m and 50m siblings sit under "LED Strip". We counted 52 listings under one and 24 under the other — 76 split across a single "s" — and four PLEX-COB families straddle both, so the same product at different formats appears in different categories.
When browsing, yes. Someone working through either category sees a partial range, and there is nothing on either to suggest the other exists. It is larger than the exterior wall light split elsewhere in this catalogue, where 13 listings sit under "Outdoor Wall Lights" and 20 under "Exterior Wall Lights". Ask us rather than browsing — the PLEX-COB range is considerably larger than either category shows.
Usefully so. It tells you before you click that the product does not light on its own, and 28 Domus listings say it in the title: COB strips, garden spike lights, path lights and a replaceable-globe fitting. So Domus has a convention for flagging this and applies it deliberately.
On the aluminium profiles, which is where it would matter most. The Micro and Nova profiles need a strip and a driver — two separate purchases — and their titles say neither, so a customer can buy a profile and receive an empty extrusion. That makes it an actionable fix rather than a missing capability: the convention exists, it wants extending.
Four, or two fed from both ends. The PLEX-COB range publishes its run limits — 5 metres from a single tail and driver, 10 metres with a tail and driver at each end — so 20 metres is four runs and four drivers, or two and two. That driver count is the cost line people miss. Tell us the run lengths and the number of separate runs.
A full hemisphere, which is what a bare strip on a flat board produces. In an open position that is a wide, soft wash. Inside a deep profile much of it hits the channel walls, so a shallow profile wastes less of the output than a deep one — which is convenient, because at 640 LEDs per metre you no longer need depth to hide dots. The two considerations point the same way for once.
Not in this format. 2700K exists in the PLEX-COB-10 range but only on the 1m, 50m pack and two IP67 listings — never alongside 3000, 4000 and 5000K. Tell us the colour and the quantity together and we will tell you whether the combination exists.

| ⛔⛔ TWO CATEGORIES ONE LETTER APART | "LED Strip" 52 listings · "LED Strips" 24 |
| ⛔ 76 listings split across a single "s" | ⚠ And FOUR PLEX-COB families straddle both |
| ⚠ Larger than the wall-light split | ⭐ That one is 13 vs 20 — ⭐ this is 76 |
| ⭐ So browsing either category | Shows a PARTIAL range — ⚠ with nothing pointing at the other |
| ⭐⭐ ITS TITLE SAYS "DRIVER REQUIRED" | ⭐ And 27 other listings do too |
| ⭐ So Domus HAS the convention | COB strips · garden spikes · path lights · a globe |
| ⛔ It is NOT applied to the PROFILES | ⭐ Which need a strip AND a driver — ⚠ and say neither |
| ⭐ Which makes it ACTIONABLE | ⭐ The convention exists; it wants extending |
| ⭐ A 20 m roll is FOUR runs | Or two fed both ends — ⚠ and four drivers, or two |
| ⭐ 180° beam | ⚠ In a DEEP profile much of it hits the channel walls |
| ⭐ But at 640 LEDs/m you need no depth | ⭐ So both considerations point at a SHALLOW profile |
