Paso is a recessed step light that sits flush in the wall with a narrow 38 × 110 mm faceplate and a tight 36° beam — the narrowest in this group. That narrow beam is deliberate: it drops a defined pool of light onto the tread directly below instead of washing the whole wall, which keeps a stairwell looking calm rather than lit. This listing sells four part numbers — black or white, in 240 V or 12 V — and the 12 V versions are the cheaper pair.

The choice to make: voltage decides the wiring and the price

• HV3105T-BLK-240V / HV3105T-WHT-240V — 240 V, wires straight to mains with no driver. More per fitting, but nothing else to buy or house.
• HV3105T-BLK-12V / HV3105T-WHT-12V — 12 V DC, which requires a 12 V DC LED driver and must never be connected directly to 240 V. Cheaper per fitting, so a run of several sharing one driver usually works out lower overall.

Light output is the same across all four: 45 lm at 3000K, 55 lm at 4000K and 49 lm at 5500K from 3 W. So the decision is purely electrical, plus the faceplate colour.

Rated IP20, which is indoor use only — no water protection at all, so Paso must not be installed on an external wall, in a bathroom wet area or anywhere it can be hosed. The cutout is 33 mm wide by 152 mm high; check studs and noggins before cutting, because the opening is tall. IK08 impact rated.

The LED is built in on all four part numbers — no globe is needed or possible. On the 12 V versions, size the driver for the combined wattage of every fitting on the circuit rather than for one. Installation by a licensed electrician.
