Product Description
xSeefore is the polycarbonate step light in this range, and the material is the whole argument for it. Where an aluminium body relies on its powder coat for protection, polycarbonate does not corrode at all — no chalking finish, no white bloom near salt air, nothing to scratch through to bare metal. This is the rectangular version, 90 mm wide, 150 mm high and 32 mm deep, in black or white.
The choice to make: polycarbonate over metal
Choose Seefore where corrosion is the risk you are designing against: coastal walls, pool surrounds with chlorinated splash, or a commercial site that gets hosed down. Choose an aluminium or brass fitting instead where the fitting is a visible design element and you want the weight and finish of metal at eye level. At IP65 the sealing is the same either way; it is the body that differs.

- Coastal and beachside steps where salt attacks painted aluminium first.
- Pool and spa surrounds exposed to chlorinated and salt-treated splash.
- Public walkways and boardwalks that are washed down regularly.
- Garden retaining walls and path steps on an existing low-voltage run, spaced so the 120° beams overlap on the paving.
Specifying it
Rated IP65: direct rain and hose washing are within its rating, which is why it suits fully exposed positions rather than only sheltered ones. From 3 W it gives 90 lm at 3000K, 95 lm at 4000K and 100 lm at 5500K, tri-colour selectable at install and spread at 120°.
Seefore is 12 V DC and requires a 12 V DC LED driver. It must never be connected directly to 240 V — the fitting will fail immediately and the warranty will not cover it. Each fitting must be within 25 m of its driver. The LED is built in, so no globe is needed or possible. It is not dimmable: wire it to a switched circuit, not a dimmer. Installation by a licensed electrician.

Questions
Why choose polycarbonate instead of aluminium?
Because it cannot corrode. Painted aluminium depends on its coating, and once that is scratched or salt-chalked the metal beneath is exposed. Polycarbonate has no coating to fail, which is why it is the better body near the coast or a pool.
Can I put it on a dimmer?
No. Seefore is not a dimmable fitting. Put it on a switched circuit; a dimmer will not give a usable result and may cause flicker.
Does it need a driver?
Yes — a 12 V DC LED driver, sized for the total load of the circuit. It must never be wired directly to 240 V mains.
How bright is it at each colour temperature?
90 lm at 3000K, 95 lm at 4000K and 100 lm at 5500K. The temperature is selected at install, so decide before the electrician fits it.
Can it take direct rain?
Yes. IP65 covers driving rain and hose-down washing, so a fully exposed step wall is within rating.
How far from the driver can it be mounted?
25 m maximum. Longer low-voltage runs lose enough voltage to dim the fitting and place the install outside the warranty conditions.

Warranties, Return & Refund Policy
xWarranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
