HV3007T-WHT-12V | HV3007T-WHT-240V - Bata White 3w LED Brick Light

On a rendered or painted wall, a white fitting stops being an object. This is the 3 W Bata in poly powder coated white with a plain face — the smallest body in the range, recessed flush, reading as a slot in the surface rather than something mounted onto it. It is the combination most often specified for a front elevation where the lighting is meant to be felt and not noticed.

A small aperture is the point

The 3 W takes 105 × 41 mm with the canister or 103 × 35 mm without, and needs 58 mm of depth. That is a genuinely small hole, and it is what lets this fitting go into places the 6 W cannot: a single skin of brick, a narrow pier between openings, a rendered blade wall. Depth is usually the binding constraint rather than width, so establish it before the render goes on rather than after.

Choose the wattage before you cut

The 6 W Bata needs 159 × 58 mm — a different aperture entirely. The sizes are not interchangeable in an existing hole, so the decision about output has to be made at the drawing stage. At 240 to 270 lumens this fitting marks a step, an edge or the wall directly beneath it; it does not light an area. If the brief is a lit driveway or a usable courtyard, specify the 6 W HV3005T or the 10 W HV3003T and cut accordingly.

Two ways in, one order code

It ships with spring clips for gyprock as well as accepting a canister in masonry, so a single code covers an external garden wall and a lined entry soffit. Cut one aperture, test-fit, then run the rest.

Supply, earthing, driver

The two codes are different fittings electrically. 240 V is Protection Class 1 and requires an earth; 12 V DC is Class 3 and requires none, but it needs a 12 V DC LED driver — Havit's instructions state in capitals that a 12 V fitting must never be wired straight to mains. On 12 V keep it within 25 m of the driver, supply within ±5% of rated voltage, or the warranty is void. Wiring is parallel; the tail is 150 mm, so plan the joint before the canister goes in.

Specification

IP54, IK06, frosted tempered glass, 120° beam, CRI above 80. The 3 W LED is built in on a replaceable panel — no globe, no socket — with a slide switch selecting 3000 K, 4000 K or 5500 K at install for 240, 255 and 270 lumens. It does not dim on either supply. Powder-coated 316 stainless is named in Havit's request that such fittings be kept 5 km from salt water, which includes this white finish.
