Silver is the Tivah finish that stops the fitting being the thing you notice. Against light render, powder-coated window frames or a rendered pillar it reads as hardware rather than decoration, and it is the least expensive metal in the fixed-down family — roughly a third of the solid brass version of the same shape. This is the fixed-down configuration: one head, aimed permanently at the ground, with a matching silver backing plate and a high-output reflector sitting behind the lamp.
There is no tilt and no swivel here, which sounds like a feature missing until you have lived with an adjustable fitting on a windy elevation. A fixed head cannot be knocked out of alignment by a ladder, a gutter clean or a gardener, so a row of them stays a row. It throws a defined scallop down the wall it is mounted on. If you want to aim light at a tree or across a path instead, the single-adjustable Tivah is the same body with a movable head.
The listing sells one fitting in three lamp configurations, and the lamp is what changes the numbers:
Because the beam belongs to the globe rather than the housing, changing the globe later changes the beam. Havit caps what you may fit at 35 W on the 240 V GU10 and 20 W on the 12 V MR16.
The body is powder-coated aluminium and it is IP65, so full exposure on an open wall or pillar is within rating. The one hard limit is coastal: Havit excludes aluminium and 304 stainless fittings from installation within 2 km of salt water, and that is a warranty condition rather than advice. Inside that line, the 316 stainless Tivah is the version rated for it. On the 12 V run, keep the fitting within 25 m of its driver and the supply within ±5%, or the warranty lapses on that ground alone.
CRI is above 80, wiring is parallel, and the fitting carries a 3-year replacement warranty.
HV1145T if you want the brightest and most flexible option — its globe switches between 3 W, 5 W and 7 W and it is the only dimmable one. HV1147GU10T is the plain 240 V 5 W version, and HV1147MR16T is the 12 V equivalent for a low-voltage garden circuit.
HV1145T only. Havit lists it as Triac dimmable because the 9-in-1 globe supplied with it dims; the fixed 5 W GU10 and MR16 globes on HV1147GU10T and HV1147MR16T do not, so those two are not dimmable as supplied.
HV1145T is 60° and both HV1147 variants are 120°. The beam comes from the globe, not the fitting, so fitting a different globe later changes it.
Yes — a 12 V DC LED driver, sized for the fitting. Keep it within 25 m of the light and hold the supply within ±5% of 12 V, both of which are warranty conditions. Never connect an MR16 fitting straight to 240 V.
Not if you are within 2 km of salt water — Havit excludes aluminium bodies from that zone and it voids the warranty. Ask us for the 316 stainless Tivah instead; it is the same shape in a marine-grade metal.
No. All three colour temperatures live in the one globe and are selected on a small switch on the globe before you fit it, so the same part number covers 3000K, 4000K and 5500K.
Roughly double. At 5500K the switchable globe runs from 270 lm at its lowest setting to 630 lm at its highest, and you set it once during installation.
