The Prisma 670 is a 670 mm surface-mounted bollard that takes a replaceable E27 globe, in powder-coated black aluminium behind a UV-stabilised Perspex diffuser. That lamp holder is what separates it from most bollards in this range: nothing here is sealed in for life, and the light you get is the globe you choose.
It runs on 240 V AC mains. It is Protection Class 1 and requires an earth, and Havit's installation sheet opens with a warning rather than a specification: this is a 240 V mains-voltage fitting, and in Australia and New Zealand fixed mains wiring must be carried out by a licensed electrician. There is no transformer and no driver anywhere in this product. ⚠ If you have seen a low-voltage figure quoted against this model, disregard it: the input is 240 V AC, which is what the ordering table, the protection class, the installation warning and Havit's own product page all state.
It ships with an 8 W E27 LED filament globe at 2700K, giving 700 lm over a 120° spread. Those three figures belong to that globe, not to the fitting, so a replacement sets its own output and its own beam. This is not a tri-colour fitting — there is no switch and no colour-temperature setting. If you want cooler light you change the lamp, and Havit sells the alternatives for exactly this: HV9569W at 2700K, HV9569N at 4000K and HV9569C at 5500K, all E27 filament globes. The ceiling matters when you go shopping: the socket accepts up to 40 W, so there is real headroom above the 8 W supplied, and the fitting is Triac dimmable — stated on both of Havit's documents for this model, which is unusual in this range and only possible because it is a mains lamp holder.
The body is IP65 and IK08. Colour quality is CRI >80 with SDCM <6, glare is UGR <39, and lamp expectancy is >30,000hrs. ⚠ Havit adds a restriction worth reading before you site it: avoid direct high-pressure water exposure from pressure washers or irrigation systems. IP65 is a jet rating, not a pressure-wash rating, and an irrigation head pointed straight at a bollard is the usual way that gets breached.
It is surface mounted: the base plate must be fixed to concrete or a concrete pad and the fitting must not be installed under ground level. All seals, gaskets and cable entries have to be correctly installed to maintain the IP rating. On siting, Havit's wording is that aluminium fittings should not be installed within 5 km of saltwater environments, and this fitting is aluminium. Lights For You publishes these figures for HV1641W-BLK from the HV1641W/HV1642W data sheet, the HV1641W/HV1642W installation instructions and Havit's own page for this model, which states a 3 Years Replacement Warranty.
No. It is 240 V AC mains, Protection Class 1, and it must be earthed and wired by a licensed electrician. Havit's installation sheet says so in a warning at the top. There is no transformer or driver in this product at all.
Not with a switch — there isn't one, and this is not a tri-colour fitting. You change the globe. It ships at 2700K, and Havit lists HV9569W (2700K), HV9569N (4000K) and HV9569C (5500K) E27 filament globes as the alternatives.
Havit gives a maximum wattage of 40 W for the socket. The supplied lamp is 8 W, so there is substantial headroom — but 40 W is the limit, and the lumen and beam figures on this page describe the 8 W globe as supplied rather than anything you fit later.
Yes — Triac dimmable, stated on both Havit documents for this model. That is unusual for a bollard in this range and it is only possible because it is a mains E27 lamp holder rather than a sealed LED. Whether you actually get smooth dimming also depends on the globe you fit, so check that the replacement lamp is itself dimmable.
The supplied globe gives 700 lm at 2700K over a 120° spread, which is a warm, wide wash rather than a directed beam. If you want more you have headroom to 40 W; if you want cooler, change the globe.
Careful here. It is IP65, but Havit explicitly says to avoid direct high-pressure water exposure from pressure washers or irrigation systems. IP65 covers jets, not pressure washing, and a sprinkler aimed at the fitting is the common cause of water ingress.
Havit's wording is that aluminium fittings should not be installed within 5 km of saltwater environments, and this bollard is aluminium. Note that Havit says "should not" rather than "must not" here, but the intent is clear and closer to the sea you should be specifying 316 stainless.
