Product Description
xThe Moro is a 230 × 240 mm acoustic felt wall light — it softens sound as well as light — with a reversible two-tone plate, in four colour pairs.
⚠ Confirm the electrical class with us before your electrician arrives. Our datasheet says Class III — low voltage, under 54 V (driver required); the page says Class I — earth required (mains, no driver). The same disagreement sits on the Raxa and the Niro — all three felt wall lights in this range — so one question to Telbix settles all of them.
The compact one of the three
Worth knowing if you are choosing between the felt wall lights. The Moro is 230 × 240 mm — noticeably smaller than the Raxa’s 400 × 310 mm — and at 0.8 kg it is the one that suits a narrow pier, a bedside, or a run of several where the larger felt panels would dominate.
It absorbs sound
The body is acoustic felt, the material used in office baffles and studio panels. It damps reflected sound in the room it hangs in — a small but real effect on echo and speech clarity against plaster, concrete or glass. Its own copy puts it well: it softens both light and sound.
The plate reverses — two colours in one product
Each Moro has a different tone on each face, and the plate flips:
- Dijon Orange on Grey
- Sage Green on Black
- Mocha Brown on Black
- Ash Black on Grey
Repaint in three years and you turn the plate over rather than replacing the fitting.
42 lumens. This is a mood light, not a lamp. Five watts producing 42 lm is roughly a tenth of a small wall light — the same output as the Raxa, where the Niro gives 82 lm. The Moro is bought for the felt, the colour and the acoustic effect. Plan your actual lighting separately.
CRI above 90, which matters here more than usual
On a fitting whose subject is coloured felt, a CRI 80 source would flatten the sage green and mute the dijon orange. At >90 the felt reads as the colour you chose.
A COB LED, warm and fixed
Chip-on-board rather than a dot array, so the light is even and clean across the acrylic rather than pixelated. 3000 K, fixed, and not dimmable.
Where it works
- Narrow piers and bedsides — where the larger felt panels would dominate.
- Hard-surfaced rooms with an echo problem.
- Hallways, in a run.
- ⚠ Alongside proper lighting, never instead of it.
Specifying it
230 mm wide, 240 mm high, 0.8 kg, in acoustic felt, aluminium and acrylic. Integrated 5 W COB LED giving 42 lm at 3000 K, included, CRI >90. Not dimmable. 240 V, IP20 — indoor and dry locations only. Warranty is three years, as a replacement warranty.

Questions
Does it need a driver?
We cannot say yet. The datasheet says Class III low voltage, which needs one; the page says Class I mains, which does not. The same disagreement sits on the Raxa and the Niro — one question to Telbix settles all three.
How does it compare to the Raxa and Niro?
It is the compact one — 230 × 240 mm against the Raxa's 400 × 310 mm. Output matches the Raxa at 42 lm; the Niro gives 82 lm.

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
