Doreza Wall Light

The Doreza WB is a 250 mm iron and crystal wall light in glossy gold — two E14 globes at 25 W each, 50 W total, not supplied.

Crystal on a wall, which is harder than crystal on a ceiling

A pendant hangs where light can reach the crystal from every side. A wall light has a wall behind it, so half those angles are gone — which is exactly why this one uses two sources rather than one. Two lamps light the crystal from both ends of the fitting, so it sparkles across its width instead of glowing at the centre.

Compact, with a 150 mm reach

250 mm wide by 266 mm high, projecting 150 mm on a 120 mm backplate, at 2 kg. That projection puts the crystal clear of the wall, which is what lets it catch light — but it also means it is not a fitting for a narrow hallway where people brush past.

Buy decorative globes — they will be seen

Two E14 globes, not supplied, and visible through the crystal. Choose decorative candle globes rather than plain frosted ones. LED candles at 3 to 5 W each give the look with far less heat, which matters more on a wall fitting than a ceiling one — you are closer to it.

Matched to the Doreza pendants

Same glossy gold on iron with crystal as the 500 mm and 600 mm Doreza pendants. A dining room with the pendant over the table and a pair of these on the wall reads as one scheme — and because all three take E14, one type of globe covers the room.
