Product Description
xThe Atala WB40 is a 400 mm slim wall light, only 40 mm wide — 12 W giving 960 lm at 3000 K, TRIAC dimmable — in black with gold accents or white.
It dims, and most slim wall lights do not
Our page was cut off before it finished saying so. The Atala takes an ordinary TRIAC leading-edge wall dimmer — no remote, no app, no controller — which is unusual in this format. Almost every other slim architectural wall light in this range is on or off. Beside a bed or in a hallway that is the difference between a fitting you use at night and one you avoid.
960 lumens from a 40 mm-wide fitting
12 W giving 960 lm is 80 lm/W — efficient — and it is a lot of light for something 40 mm across. Most fittings this slim are accents; the Atala can carry a hallway on its own. Dimmed, it does the ambient job as well.
400 mm tall and 40 mm wide
A ten-to-one proportion — a genuine vertical line. It projects 86 mm on a 120 mm round canopy and weighs only 0.59 kg. Beside a door or a mirror, a narrow vertical relates to the opening in a way a square fitting does not.
Black with gold, or plain white
Black with gold accents is the one with presence — the gold catches light along the edge and draws the line. White disappears into a pale wall and leaves only the light. Both are sand-finished, so neither goes glossy.
It is Class I — earth required — and hard-wired. A licensed electrician installs it, and on this page that requirement is genuine, unlike the plug-in lamps in this range that carried the same line in error.
The smaller of two
The Atala also comes at 580 mm (the “60 cm”), at 16 W and 1,440 lm. Use the 400 in pairs flanking a bed or a mirror, and the 580 singly where you want one strong vertical. Both dim from the same kind of dimmer, so they can share a circuit.

Questions
Can I dim it?

For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is replacement only.
Lights For You is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and/or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
Faulty items: lodge warranty directly with the brand (manufacturer). Keep proof of purchase.
Damaged or Missing Items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by Lights For You within seven (7) days of receipt of the product. Please email photos to ashfield@lightsforyou.com.au.
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by Lights For You and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Returns
Change of Mind Returns
- Customers who wish to return a product due to a change of mind or cancelled order may do so within thirty (30) days of receipt.
- The customer is responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first place and the cost of shipping the product back to us.

Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage in accordance with our Faults & damages policy.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
