Deco-13 Trio Dimmable Led Downlight

The Domus DECO-13 is a 13 W deep-set LED downlight in round or square, white, black or chrome — an ultra-slim 38 mm housing with a 90° beam, switchable 3000 K / 4000 K / 5700 K and a Ø90 mm cutout.

Slim housing, deep-set face — an unusual combination

Most anti-glare downlights are deep, because the recess is what hides the source. The DECO manages both:

• Only 38 mm high. That is genuinely shallow, and it is the reason to choose this fitting — concrete ceilings, minimal roof space, second storeys with shallow battens, and renovations where the ceiling void is not what you hoped.
• Deep-set frame reducing glare from the source, in the depth available.
• 90° beam — a wide distribution, unlike the 36° DEEP-13. This is a general room light: fewer fittings, further apart. Plan on roughly 2 m spacing from a 2.4 m ceiling.

Round or square, and three finishes

Both shapes take the same Ø90 mm cutout, so the choice is purely visual and you can even mix them across a house without changing the ceiling work.

• Round — the default, and it disappears fastest into a ceiling.
• Square — reads as deliberate, and lines up with square vents, skylights and joinery.
• White vanishes; black reads as a considered detail on a white ceiling and hides the aperture; chrome suits bathrooms with chrome tapware.

The numbers

• 800 lm at 3000 K, 850 lm at 4000 K, 900 lm at 5700 K.
• 65 lm/W at 4000 K — modest, and the price of the slim deep-set housing.
• CRI above 83, SMD LED, 50,000 hours.
• Cutout Ø90 mm, face 110 mm, height 38 mm.
• ⚠ 5700 K is the top setting, not 5000 K — colder and bluer than you may expect. Set on a dip switch at the back, before installation.

Supplied complete with a dimmable LED driver and flex-and-plug.

• General room lighting — a 90° beam, about 2 m apart.
• Shallow ceilings, concrete soffits and renovations — only 38 mm deep.
• Living areas, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens.
• ⚠ IP44 from the underside once installed — for a real wet area ask about the AQUA.
• ⚠ Dimming tested on Domus dimmers only — tell us yours before ordering.
