Tivah is Havit's long-running up/down wall pillar light: powder-coated black aluminium with a matching backing plate and a high-output reflector, rated IP65 for open outdoor positions. It is the fitting most often specified in pairs either side of a garage door or along a pillar run, where the twin up-and-down wash gives a rhythm down a driveway.
The three options are not finishes — they are different voltages and lamp bases, and the difference matters before you wire anything:
All three are tri-colour selectable: 3000K, 4000K or 5500K, set at the globe. Choose one temperature for the whole run. The globes are replaceable, which is the practical advantage of this fitting over a sealed built-in LED — but they are base-specific: a GU10 globe does not fit an MR16 fitting and the reverse is also true, so match the globe to the part number you bought.
If you specify the 12V MR16 version, size the driver for the total load of every fitting on the circuit, not for one light. Havit also requires the fitting to sit within 25 m of its driver and the supply to stay within ±5% of nominal — outside those limits the warranty does not apply. Installation by a licensed electrician.
Backed by a 3-year replacement warranty.
Supplied by Lights For You — tell us your pillar spacing and we will work out the run.
If you are wiring to mains, choose a 240V GU10 version (HV1025T or HV1027GU10T). Choose the MR16 version only if you already have, or intend to install, a 12V DC circuit with a driver.
Yes, and it is not optional. HV1027MR16T is a 12V DC fitting. Connecting it directly to 240V will destroy it and voids the warranty. It needs a 12V DC LED driver sized for the whole circuit's wattage.
No more than 25 m, and the supply must stay within ±5% of nominal voltage. Long thin cable runs cause voltage drop, which shows up as dimming or colour shift and falls outside the warranty.
Yes — that is the point of this fitting. Replace like for like: GU10 for the GU10 models, MR16 for the 12V model. Check the replacement is tri-colour if you want to keep the switchable temperature.
The 60° option (HV1025T) throws a narrower, more defined column of light — better on a tall pillar or where you want a crisp graze. The 120° options spread wider and softer, which suits lower walls and broader coverage.
